Robinson Crusoe C
The final part brings dramatic conflict to the island tale. Crusoe moves through the jungle toward a cave, handles a rifle in his lap, while a woman writes at a table and looks out a window, suggesting a parallel storyline. Groups of riders on horseback travel along the sandy shoreline, and a man in a feathered headdress stands among the palm trees. A bound woman lies on the sand as riders gallop toward her, and a confrontation erupts: the fur-costumed Crusoe fires his rifle repeatedly, standing over a kneeling woman in a grass skirt while a man in a feathered hat wields a spear. Silhouetted beach scenes and text screens with historical information punctuate the action. Crusoe and a younger companion converse anxiously near a wooden structure and chest, dig and fire from a trench, and share campfires in the woods, where a shirtless painted man and elderly man talk and laugh. Coconut palms are climbed, spears examined, and men in period costume gather on the beach with rifles. In the resolution, a man returns to the woman writing at the table, removes his hat, shows her a doll, and kisses her hand as a 'FINIS' title appears over waves crashing on the shore.
